Curtis Abrams, Jr. was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Graduated from high school and in 19 days afterwards, went into the U.S. Army at age 17.
Went into active duty military stationed in Colorado, South Korea, Iraq, and Georgia.
Was shot in the elbow while restoring democracy in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. Minor injury.
Discharged from the U.S. Army and lived in the Canadian wilderness for 1 year. (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)
Moved back to Tuscaloosa, Al to attend the University of Alabama. Was a frequent writer for the college newspaper and a TV photographer at the college TV station for 4 years.
Graduated from the University of Alabama and worked in behavior research and clinical studies in Birmingham, Al for 5 years. Transitioned to car sales and management for about 7 years. Also was a part-time private tutor and a mentor to students.
Moved to Tallahassee, Florida, and is currently a self-employed claims adjuster, property appraiser, and home inspector in the Florida pandhandle. Also, he tutors occasionally. Published his first book as of 2021 about self-help and introspection.
